Upon our arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative and will drop you to booked hotel. After checking in, we take a rest. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Himalayan Circuit and brief you about your Big Adventure.

Swayambhunath temple complex that sits atop a high hill overlooking Kathmandu and the entire Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath is perhaps the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal. It consists of a very large white stupa with the all-seeing-eye of Lord Buddha plus many small stupa and beautifully carved stone shrines. Later afternoon you will get chance to meet your trekking leader and time for last minute shopping.
We start the journey with a one hour flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj on the Nepal-India border in western Nepal
Depending upon your flight arrival time you may like to pay a visit to local attractions such as the Bageswori temple, one of the most important temples for Hindus. Nepalgunj is also a gateway to Simikot, Dolpo and Humla another popular off the beaten destination of Nepal.
