The Langtang region lies in the northern reaches of the country, along a valley running east to west below the Lirung Glacier, and the area is inhabited almost entirely by Sherpa farmers. The region consists of two distinct landscapes; rugged valleys and ridges, and a high, alpine-like col full of burrows and lake-laden vistas. At certain times of year you can even cross between them, for a complete scenic experience. The spirituality of the region will stun you, and you explore countless gompas and stupas on the ascent, all complimented by the giant Langtang as the backdrop. Our Langtang trek operates as a circuit, starting and ending in two different villages.
