Today’s journey takes you through three of Nepal’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites. Begin in Patan, one of the oldest royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley, known for its rich Newari architecture and over 1,000 Buddhist monuments. Its Durbar Square is a vibrant showcase of temples, stone carvings, and ancient craftsmanship. Next, visit Boudhanath Stupa—the largest spherical stupa in the world, adorned with prayer wheels and 108 Buddha images. End the day at Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple by the Bagmati River, where centuries-old cremation rituals offer a powerful glimpse into Nepal’s spiritual depth.

Today, you will head to Nepalgunj, which will take a 50-minute flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival at the Airport, you will take a 2-3 hour scenic drive to Dalla village. The trip gives you an idea of Nepal's varied landscapes and cultural fabric. The Bardia District, home to Dalla village, is well-known for Bardia National Park, a sanctuary for animal lovers. When you get to Dallas Village, a host family from the Tharu Community will greet you with open arms. There will be a welcome ceremony with Tharu music and dancing tonight.

Today, you will get the opportunity to explore the village, you will experience the culture and tradition of locals, mostly Tharus, up close at the home stay village. You will also learn more about the region's abundant biodiversity. To learn more about the educational efforts you can visit the local schools and community center. You can learn about the Tharu way of life by taking part in activities including farming, cooking courses, and cultural tours.

Your time at Bardia continues, with an opportunity to capture the wild animals up close and personal with a Half Day Jungle Walk, which brings you to Tower (Machan), allowing you to do some “wild” sightseeing. Accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker, the Half Day Tiger Tracking & Bird watching Expedition provides an excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger, and the other more elusive species found there, including many species of rare birds. Packed lunch will be provided for your excursion, and be sure to bring your camera; excellent photographic opportunities abound.

It will be a busy day for you as a wildlife enthusiast with your Full Day Jeep Safari inside Bardia National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to see wild animals and also encounter the many smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home. Then after enjoying a packed lunch it’s off to the Crocodile breeding center. Where you’ll see these ancient creatures up close. To celebrate the completion of your successful expedition into Bardia and its jungles, relax at the homestay and enjoy the Cultural Dance by the local Tharu People before preparing to leave the next day

After breakfast, drive from Bardia to Nepalgunj, enjoying the scenic journey through the lowlands. From Nepalgunj, take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your homestay for some rest before heading out for a cultural walk. Later, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square—also known as Basantapur or Hanuman Dhoka—an ancient palace complex rich with carved temples, royal courtyards, and centuries of history. Wander through the surrounding lanes lined with local handicraft shops, then explore a nearby market to soak in the vibrant rhythm of old Kathmandu.
