Annapurna Base Camp Trek: How difficult is it?
The trek is very moderate, and if you are in good health and have reasonable fitness, you can complete it without much difficulty.
You do not need any prior trekking experience to complete this trek. The journey can be accomplished by any age group with a little determination and fitness.
The trek is one of the most popular in Nepal and is moderately challenging but easier and shorter than other high-altitude treks, like Everest Base Camp, Makalu Base Camp, Kanchanjunga and Manaslu Base Camp.
When to trek?
There are two best seasons for Annapurna Base Camp Trek: mid-September to November (autumn) and March to May (spring). June to August (monsoon) are rainy months, but it’s best for botanists because it has clear skies.
