Boudhanath is not only the largest stupa in the valley but also in the world! It lies about 6 km east of downtown Kathmandu and looms 36 meters high presenting one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. With hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 small images of Buddha all around Boudhanath is a great way to kick off your trip. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples in the world listed on the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The pagoda-style Hindu temple with gilt roofing and richly carved silver doors is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. You will be able to observe the full cremation process here, allowing you to contemplate the life cycle as you watch this display of love and devotion.

After wrapping up the cultural tour in Kathmandu you’ll take a scenic 6-7 hours drive along the Trishuli river to Sauraha, a major trade route in Nepal. The Chitwan National park is one of the most renowned national parks in Asia, laying in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, and covering an area of 932 sq. km Chitwan has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1984.

Wake up at dawn this morning to be guided to the Sarangkot Hill station for the spectacular sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri range, and Mt. Fishtail. Spend some hours, enjoying the amazing mountain views or in one of the many cafes serving fresh Himalayan coffee.
